RATES
Rates vary according to the season, length of stay and number of people.
TWO NIGHT MINIMUM
NO MORE THAN 8 PEOPLE TOTAL
SUMMER SEASON
Weekly rentals preferred, from Sunday to Sunday, from Mid-June until after Labor Day.
SUMMER SCHEDULE FOR ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
ARRIVAL TIME 300 - 400 p.m. on Sunday
DEPARTURE TIME noon on following Sunday.
REST OF YEAR
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURES DEPEND ON WHETHER WE HAVE OTHER RENTALS CLOSELY SCHEDULED BEFORE OR AFTER YOURS. We can be more flexible about early arrivals or later departures if there is no other close rental.
LIMIT GUESTS TO 8 PEOPLE
This includes babies and children and is because we have a septic system.
DEPOSIT
AN ADVANCE PAYMENT ACTING AS A DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED TO HOLD YOUR RESERVATION.
Personal checks made out to Janet Nelson Thompson will be accepted.
We do not accept credit cards.
FULL RENTAL PAYMENT IS DUE 20 DAYS IN ADVANCE
KEYS ARE MAILED DIRECTLY TO RENTERS, AFTER FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED, UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We ask for 30 DAYS NOTICE TO CANCEL A SUMMER WEEK and 14 DAYS NOTICE FOR OTHER RENTALS.
We reserve the right to keep your advance payment or Deposit if we have not been given sufficient notice and are unable to secure another renter for your time spot. In spite of initial high demand, it is not easy to find last minute replacements, even in the summertime.

Use answering machine to leave your name, area code and phone number, and if possible the dates you are looking for. This is where the Beach house calendar is kept with available dates. Janet will return your call as soon as possible.
WE DON'T ACCEPT RESERVATIONS FOR SUMMER WEEKS UNTIL JAN 1 OF THE SAME YEAR. This is because of long-standing renters and family we need to accommodate. We are happy to put you on our Summer Request List and call you back in early January.
